Deadline extended for nominations for John Lewis Paton award

The deadline for submissions for the John Lewis Paton Distinguished University Professorship is extended from April 1 to May 1.
The award is 果酱视频's top institutional honour.
It is presented to a faculty member who embodies the university鈥檚 mission by demonstrating exceptional teaching, undertaking world-class research and sharing their knowledge and expertise nationally and internationally.
Named in honour of 果酱视频 University College鈥檚 first president, the award comprises the lifetime designation, Distinguished University Professor, and a one-time unrestricted grant ($20,000) to support future research, teaching and/or public engagement activities at 果酱视频.
The terms of reference for the award and information on materials required for nomination packages are available online.
Nomination packages should be submitted electronically to the Office of the Vice-President (Research) via email at vp.research@mun.ca by the nomination deadline.
Those considering applying should contact their unit鈥檚 grants facilitator (or, if the unit has no grants facilitator, the person with signing authority for your unit) to confirm if there are earlier, internal deadlines. These internal deadlines must be factored into the timing of the development and submission of these applications.
If you have questions related to the award, you can contact Ellen Steinhauer via email at ellens@mun.ca or Tina Winsor via email at tinaw@mun.ca with 果酱视频鈥檚 Strategic Institutional Research Initiatives unit.
